6th Grade Class: This class focuses on laying a solid foundation for manners, confidence and basic (yet important) life skills. Skills include: First impressions, a proper handshake, making eye contact, conversation skills, being a gentleman and table manners. They also will learn a variety of line dances. The 6th Grade class will run from January-April 2018, with the last class being a 5 course dinner held at the Marietta Country Club. Cost: $225
7th Grade Class: This class reinforces and builds upon the foundational skills acquired in the 6th grade class and will add the element of partner dancing . Each class will have a character, etiquette and dance component. New material will include: Social media essentials, making introductions, family manners, common courtesies, RSVP’s and writing thank you notes. Dancing will include: The Waltz, The Shag and additional line dances. The 7th Grade class will run from September 2017-April 2018 which includes two dances....one in December and another in April. Cost: $325
8th Grade Class: This class reviews and refines previously learned skills while adding several more. New material will include: Being a gracious guest and a gracious host, “First Dance” essentials (boutonnieres/corsages, pictures, dinner reservations, tipping etc.), and essential interview skills and goal setting. Dancing will include: The Foxtrot, The Salsa and additional steps for The Shag and The Waltz. The 8th Grade class will run from September 2017-April 2018 which includes one dance in December and another in April. Cost: $325
Sorority Recruitment Workshop:
High school Seniors and mothers, please join The Social Class, Sunday, March 26th at 3:00pm for a fun and informative class focused on navigating the process of Sorority Rush! We will provide details on what to expect during Rush, wardrobe and accessory suggestions, how to write your resume' and secure sorority recommendations, Do's and Don't of Rush and discuss the costs associated with Rush and being a member of a sorority. Also on hand will be outstanding young women, currently involved in the Greek systems at UGA, KSU and Samford, to help answer all of your questions and alleviate all of your fears! Undecided about going Greek? Hopefully the information you receive will help you determine if going through your university's recruitment process would be the right fit for you! We hope you will join us!

Girls: Blouse and skirt or dress, flats or other comfortable dress shoes
Boys: Khaki pants, long sleeve button down shirt (tucked in with a belt), dress shoes
(*This is also the attire for the 6th Grade dinner.)

The Social Class is unable to make exceptions for children to register for a class that is different than the grade they are in. Additionally, we are only equipped to serve students who are socially mature, able to sit quietly and listen and are capable of interacting in an age appropriate manner with students their own age.
